Akriti is 11 years old. She was a victim of the great earthquake that hit Nepal in 2015 which took her Mom away. Her favorite foods are donuts, black tea, biscuits, eggs, fried rice, mango, Dal, Bhat and Tarkari. Akriti loves writing and drawing. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She is afraid of storms and dust because of the Earthquake memory. She was only 3 years old when the earthquake hit Nepal. Her family’s house and their only means of income, a small piece of land, was overridden by rocks and destroyed. They became homeless and had nothing to grow for food. Akriti’s Father survived but was unable to take care of her until 2022. She is back in his care now but they are struggling. 

A total monthly sponsorship of $40/month will provide a child with monthly school tuition fees which cover the cost of uniforms, books, paper and writing materials, a backpack, and her breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. The local church provides Sunday school, dance and drama class for the kids.
