Sanjib is 17 years old. His father died in 2012 due to Pneumonia and mother in 2014 of kidney failure. They were very poor and had no source of income, land or property. Sanjib is healthy and has a brother who is mute. His main food is Dhido, which is a traditional food of Nepal, similar to halva, made by boiling water and adding flour of millet, wheat flour or corn flour. It’s best served with chicken soup. He likes to play football in his free time. He lives in a remote village and has no idea that there are many other types of clothing, food and cultures. He plays the guitar and wants to be a carpenter and Pastor when he grows up.
A total monthly sponsorship of $40/month will provide a child with monthly school tuition fees which cover the cost of uniforms, books, paper and writing materials, a backpack, and his breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. The local church provides Sunday school, dance and drama class for the kids.
